Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

How is the attendance in your office nowadays?

Is it still low? Are people there or are they just not showing up? It would be interesting to compare all the locations. I'm in NYC and my office is half empty.

I am guessing free lunch is no alternative to the gas prices and sitting in a stuffy old building all day. Even though I walk outdoors more when I go in twice a week. Nothing better than going to my local gym during lunch breaks. Maybe I'll do once a week now.

Empty, empty, empty. I even peeked in on other floors last time I went in.

I've only seen 1 - 3 people on any given day when I peeked in.

I love it and do not bother so much anymore as I get much more done WFH.

Delaware here. More than half empty. I think free lunches have brought some back more days. Big managers come in when a big wig comes to visit.

Charlotte in GIS and it’s pretty dead here even though we’ve been told to come in three days a week. There’s no way everyone is doing that. Leadership is checking badge swipes and desks though and if you ask to go to a conference in person you’re getting denied. It’s such an energy suck for me to be in office and I get so much less work done.

Low low low and I love it! Unnecessary to fill up these cubes- not interested in getting sick, nor am I ever doing 5 days a week in office ever again.

Re: @1bqb+1j12pa0X

so you all get together and decide you're just not going to the office.

AND YOU ALL STICK WITH IT. Problem solved.

I'm under the centralized sales umbrella (think mortgages sales etc) in Charlotte and we are required 5 days a week, no exceptions. Last Friday schools were closed and we were under tropical storm warning and they still made us come in!!! Meanwhile the weathermen were saying don't leave home. Then said we had to leave by 2pm so we had to go back on the roads in it again. We all have laptops and worked from home for over 2 years without any issues. I think we are the only floor in out building that is 5 days a week it is super frustrating and d-mb.

NJ - one section with capacity for 75 people. I see less than 20 people on a given day even on Wed/Thurs when we are advised to come because of Agile, and even when there is free lunch. 20 is generous count, btw.
