Claim dept only reflects leadership and those six figure employees
This post is a shining example of why 98% of you claims people will never come close to making a 6 figure wage in your lifetime and why you are referred to as grunts.
Had he stood up to Glenn and made an argument against further destroying the claim department, the company would be in a much better position. And...Glenn might still have a job. Cutting thousands of experienced claim employees just as we came out of the Covid claim declines was a self-inflicted wound with ongoing consequences. There's inflation, but every area of claims is very poorly positioned to serve customers and contain costs.

So at Allstate a SVP is not responsible for the deficiencies in the department that he oversees??
I guess accountability is only for the lowly claim rep when it comes to Allstate…good to know…
To be fair, he can’t return phone calls or speak respectfully to customers. That is on the claim reps and for the most part they do a horrible job.
To be fair the claims issues aren’t Eric’s fault.
He has done so great at running the claim department which is currently one of the worst in the industry…
