The situation with Alchemist is summed up by "there are no bad products, only bad prices." If we're being honest, DG2 is a completely disaster - years late, broken drivers, hence the bargain bin pricing. This is the movie equivalent of a "straight to DVD" release. The fact that a 6 years old 1060 still commands a premium over A380, even without DXR and AV1, means it's a far more desirable GPU.
Don't know what the BOM cost is for Alchemist SKUs, but I doubt it'll make any profit, so AXG will continue to bleed money and be a drag on Intel.
A gtx 1060 6 gb will actually work.
Did you see the stuttering and really bad artifacts on lots of games?

A mew gtx 1060 6 gb on Amazon costs 250 usd. If you are getting the same performance for 140 bucks, is it a better deal or not? And this is before driver optimization for games and videos.

Did you even read the review? Who the heck is comparing the A380 vs the 3090 Ti?!? Lame strawman argument.
The pro/con box at the beginning of the review listed one of the cons as "Only matches the GTX 1060 6GB from 2016," so yeah it's "competitive" with a 6 year old GPU. But you're not even defending Intel, right?
It's 139 bucks. What do you expect them to do - make something that rivals RTX3090 TI on their first dGPU product attempt ever? I am not even defending Intel - they are probably losing money on all this - but the kind of people who take joy at other people's efforts and failures (seemingly the majority of people who hang around these forums) are usually sore losers who need to examine their lives closely first.
