Message from a higher up at one of Avaya’s “partners” is Avaya management meets tomorrow to communicate RIF details. Layoffs then take place Friday or Tuesday ( post Labor Day ).

I received an at risk job claiming notification on Friday via FedEx due sept 6th I'm in western Pennsylvania last technician of 52 started in 1998
So with a US holiday on Monday people will have to check their email or have a surprise on Tuesday. Hmmmmmm. Maybe emails should go out tomorrow if the meeting is on Tuesday so people could get a jump on their respective job hunting (and weekend drinking)
If you are on the list, you will get a meeting invite Monday for a Tuesday call with HR.

Interesting. Would have assumed they'd do it before tomorrow (Sept 1) to get them off of the books and not carry for another month. Odd to wait a day to have to carry them on books for 30 more
