I heard this morning that 900 people have put in for those jobs. Do we even have 900 network and broadband techs left in the company?
Once the fiber is complete, layoffs follow. About 200 techs
These are internal no postings 200 fiber splicers being recruited among 16 states.
Lumen isn't the best company to work for. Better than unemployment? yes
This is an offer outside of the bid and transfer. Lateral move of existing broadband/nettechs to same nettech title in different org.
Is it a good idea? There's always work and even more of it right now. But the company has been trying to get rid of construction splicers for years and move the work to contractors, that's why they're so short.
I have no idea what you are talking about. What state. I look at postings all the time.
