One person says here that Platform X is block buster offer of DXC and another one that it has been canceled. Whom to believe?
Interesting! Did platform-x detect the cyrogenic engine leak ahead of time and scrubbed the mission right in time? Unbelievable!
Platform-X i and block buster offering. Don't belong in the same sentence.
Btw- Platform-X is currently being used By NASA in the Artemis Moon mission
very funny - anyway Platform X has been cancelled as part of the $500M cuts (as discussed on several other topics on this site) - don't think NASA will be losing much sleep over that decision ...
Btw- Platform-X is currently being used By NASA in the Artemis Moon mission. We have developed a module in Platform-x, which integrates with the NASA's own cyrogenic engine monitoring module and give them a 360 view of the mission. We plan to bring this technology to monitor our entire datacenter config items. This is a great step forward and will be our block buster offering.
Good for microfocus. Open text will fix the problem. At lease one piece of the legendary HP can be salvaged now. May be they will buy DXC (a sliver of it) to run their consulting division. (loosers don't bother applying here)
"Recently departed DXC Tech UK boss Nick Wilson has swapped one troubled employer for another - he is the new global veep of professional services at the retirement home for legacy software, Micro Focus."
It is all connected at the top...rotten leadership = rotten outcomes.....or selloffs..

Not sure of the relevance of OpenText putting one of Meg Whitman's rejects out of their misery - MicroFocus never recovered from inheriting HP Software, but at least their shareholders get to double their money. Her other reject, now known as DXC didn't take the offer from ATOS so the shareholders are condemned to watch endless $500M cost cuts until someone puts DXC out of its misery.
As for Platform X, its already dead (was it ever alive other than as powerpoint?) - see other articles on this site, ki---d off as part of the current $500M cuts.
OpenText to acquire Micro Focus:
The deal will still require the approval of Micro Focus shareholders with at least 75% voting in person or by proxy and will require the approval at least 75% of the stockholders voting on the measure. The merger will also need to be cleared by UK antitrust and foreign investment regulatory authorities and undergo a review by the relevant court.
You are comparing iconic Canadian co. OpenText with Platform-x-x, clearly defines dxc'ers tech abilities!
