Thread regarding Aetna layoffs

I'm hoping I'm laid off

There have been too many changes in the past few years for the worse for me to want to stay, but quitting right now doesn't seem like a good idea either. Getting a severance package and being able to kick back and relax for a while before I'd have to start my job search would be ideal.

I’m a full-time WAH Aetna engineer for the last 8 years. Not sure what team you’re on, but we work 50-60 hours a week, no joke. I barely have time to eat. Any team only working 6 to 7 hours A WEEK needs to be laid off. You do know we can see everything you’re doing on your workstation, right? It’s called Aternity. Look it up.

Assuming you are working from home, just take up another job. At Aetna, it is extremely unusual to have more than 6 to 7 hours of work per week and rest of the time is just Netflix, music, second job etc.
