Over 30 home office employees laid off. Sales down, expenses way up because of all the new hires. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Unfortunately JH is still present but probably won’t last too much longer once they realize the true selfishness and self-centeredness and lack of ability to truly execute without control over minions. It’ll be too late because Follett will be sold in parts over the next 24 months anyway.
Definitely not a huge improvement in performance from the executive suite. Stores understaffed while adding VPs...Sounds the same. Systems failing, yep, the same. Executive suite not listening, yep...the same. Thinking the failure is due to the lack of execution...the same. Thinking the failure is due to not have the right people in place...the same. Too many examples to continue.
Here is an idea. How about giving the stores the autonomy to operate as needed. I guarantee that you will see better results than this top-down, micromanaging, traditional retail BS that is happening.
Is JH gone FINALLY???? That cockroach needs to go.
Sales are not down as much as folks think. They changed the fiscal year so it looks worse than it is.
Hopefully not true. With an investment group you'd think they would have a long term plan. Not knee jerk reactions. This month is looking bad, layoffs! Certainly do not need more management. You need to shed dead wood in the management team. Ki----g profit - why?
Yep, same story different group. Hire more VPs and lay everyone else off. Like this company really needed anymore VPs.
A/p I think
Which depts. we’re hit
How are rush figures so far???
