I have been trying to find a new job for some time now. I still haven't found anything decent and that's the only reason I'm anxious about my name being on the target list. On the other hand, not having to deal with this kind of management would be the greatest relief for me, and I think that this feeling even outweighs the anxiety of the layoff.

Your confused feelings are totally understandable.
The person who is acting like the bullying comments (which go back years and are consistent) are made up is The BULLY.
So so so many good people at Avaya. We are all here for you and everyone. And the self-preservers who want to shut free speech down (yet can't also give job security, pension, etc)....
You will not have the support of the Avaya family network as we all know who you are. You stand alone.
Bullying? In what group? What function? What theater?
Never seen or heard any, or had anyone I’ve worked with say anything even remotely about it.
I think getting out of the toxic bullying that exists here would be a welcome relief
