I have posted some comments on this website and have noticed that some of them have been taken down. I have not stated anything that is offensive to anyone. What ever happened to freedom of speech?

1st amendment is so good. So lucky.
While the First Amendment protects us from congress preventing the freedom of speech, it's also a common curtesy that used to be generally upholder by private companies. Just like holding the door for someone or returning your cart to the corral, you're not required to do it by law, but you're a lo----e if you don't.
Managers get paid bonus for team engagement. Low turn outs on survey will count against them.
Wishing our office had that fancy new coffee they rolled out this week to cover up the tuna casserole odor my coworker is eating next to me at her desk.
For those commenting on the "anonymity" of the survey, look again. The notices to take the survey do not say it is anonymous. It clearly states that responses are "confidential". A BIG difference!
We should cancel the layoff! That will teach them. We will create our own union and stage a walkout!!

As others have pointed out, it’s privately owned website dedicated to talks about layoffs and work conditions with a few simple rules listed in the footer. Don’t violate the rules and your post won’t get nuked.
Don’t name names, don’t curse, don’t threat or insult others.
Avoid off topics like discussing politics or religion.
That’s about it
Anyone who ever thought it was anonymous needs to get their head checked. If it’s anonymous why can’t i fill it out 10 times? It seems to know that i filled one out…
Bit unrelated…Managers are pointedly asking teams to complete the recent survey.
Does that sound like an anonymous survey ???
The kind of people who get wound up about "freedom of speech" in this context have a limited understanding of everything.
Why do people have so limited an understanding of free speech?
Yep, freedom of speech means the government can't persecute you for the things you say, not that you can force people to listen to your insane ranting.
Freedom of speech only applies to government retaliation. Private companies...including this one... That are here for a specific subject, don't want to facilitate conversations about fringe conspiracies and political motivated non-sense. Biden? Cat litter boxes? Communism? Socialism? Get out of here. This is about news around layoff sna company stuff. Go cry about is on truth social.
It's a privately owned forum, so they can do what they want for the most part. Not that freedom of speech really exists in the real world either. In 2022 you are "free" to agree with the statist narrative or you will be demonized, marginalized, cancelled, audited, charged, or inaccurately called some kind of "ist". So much tolerance.
