I'm really sick of the feeling that everything, even the smallest detail, is being controlled. All the colleagues I talk to complain about the same problem - micromanagement. I need this job because I can't find anything better for now, but I'm more exhausted than ever.
I have no experience in competing companies. Does anyone know if they have as much micromanagement as we do here?

Try working for Optum in Puerto Rico. Not only do we have to use Omega, but we also have around 4 trackers placed in our computers to monitor every keystroke.
They certainly have endless $ for war, jingoism, and militarism
The saying goes "The Bigger they are, The Harder they fall" More public lawsuits by the federal government along with private lawsuits on the various discrimination and good'ol boy network should make the shareholders take notice.... IF nothing else let them fire you or quit without giving notice and go to work for Amazon's new Healthcare Program... This place is a TOXIC He11 H0le!!!
Racist , toxic, negative, hostile work environment. The supervisor’s are buffoons and are corporate monkeys do godets. They micromanage and are so unorganized.

Can't speak about the healthcare industry; I'm in IT. There are plenty of other companies out there that are MUCH better. If your job is specific to healthcare (e.g. nurse, pharmacy, etc.) then, sorry, I can't help you.
I doubt it. They are too nervous and afraid to lose a contract with their clients. If they didn't micromanage everything to the point of forcing a huge azz smile on your face all day long then they would constantly be worried about that contract deal and the business. One thing you have to understand is no matter what Capitalits corporations you work for, the company and investors come first. Unless you operate your own business you play by their rules. You always have the option to become a Social Media influencer like the younger generation. You can be your own Boss, ditch the corporation, and make way more money then that basic 9to5.
It's likely bc they were mentally ill. The need to micromanage is a deep insecurity that the buffoon has. Projections of their inferiority and insecurities onto their teammates. Thus, they need to control everything and anything. Oppression, exploitation, US empire capitalism. Vile
