Any word on Ford Credit?

I've heard of some folks I know from the motor comp side laid off but we haven't really gotten any information at all about credit. Coworkers are all stressed to the max. Has anyone heard anything or gotten any updates about ford credit this morning? About the only thing I've heard is that things will go thru Friday and be done.

Thanks in advance if you have any info and I'm praying for those who get the call today. I hope you end up somewhere better. This is going to be a miserable, stressful week.

Entire Ford Credit IT teams were cut today. It’s brutal. One guy was convinced to transfer to his team to be safe by his LL5. So he did transfer 6 months ago. Poof the entire team cut loose this morning.

Ever since Ford Credit got infiltrated with Ford Management, their only concern is impressing the Ford executives and being part of the team. They no longer do what is in the best interest of Ford Credit but only what is in the best interest of their careers. It's disgusting.

Sales definitely hit. Several in the field confirmed cut this morning. Some center positions also. I'm being intentionally vague, but a lot of surprising ones that I didn't expect unfortunately.

Has it been limited to business centers only or has the sales field teams been hit too?

I can confirm I was hit in Credit this morning.

Ford Credit firings happening today, including me. North American agency folks fired immediately. Many Ford salaried let go as well. Firings are so deep that some functions can no longer be done! Nobody thought these firings out at all.

Credit is being hit also. I know someone that lost 3 people on her team.
