I assume that they have better hiring practices than Ford for finding competent software people. When I hired in at Ford not all that long ago the interview was short on confirming I had the specific skills I stated and long on general teamwork and being able to shovel wokeness. Little wonder less than competent software people in abundance.
OP, you don’t want software engineers from Ford. Have you ever seen software they created?
