Who is DM?
TBH the entire Crash Safety group needs to rethink as many Good Engineers who do CAE are Agency. Those folks have no motivation these days to work and are constantly stressed. Sooner or late they will leave taking all the critical CAE expertise to other company, while Ford will have Salaried Slackers who will
do the talk show without any critical understanding or knowledge about the field.
The irony. There is a open position on ford careers for Crash Safety Engineer.
In Crash Safety the always keep the Agency guys as a buffer zone to reduce when there are layoffs. People are shown the “salaried conversion” carrot.
Time and again it is proven that salaried slackers are saved.
I am sorry. I worked in Crash from 1998 to 2004. I was not laid off, but quit after how I was treated. Horrible. It was a blessing in disguise as I have a wonderful life now. Ford should have laid off DM. You will find another job quickly. I hear GM is good and pays more than Ford.
