Been quiet for a couple of days now. Ah, of course, it’s the weekend. Seems this unhelpful diatribe only gets peddled during working hours - sums it up I think.

You are right ,pathetic leaders running old shops, trying to delay transformation ,aligning with customers and partners deployed onsite. All people managers to go this time.
Go to market theme has screwed Avaya ,interms of revenue and control on market
VPs, Senior Managers and directors have to be fired for running small shops or teams to benefit partners.
That's one of the major cause of revenue diverted to partners and leaked by other means. Identify the teams solely running on partner support and not on in house team...
Eentire revenue leakage and control is with partnets, as same leaders never trained their own team to benefit partners.
Almost all leaders and people management roles are involved and that's the reason new good leaders never survive in Avaya.
How many of old leaders have you seen left out of Avaya, NONE.
Start punishing the culprits at the top
This time risk averse
OMG. This is too good to be true. Steve=Karen. Music Man Showmanship. (Speaking of I still really want to see Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster next time I cross the pond). Evangelshit. This post made my morning tea that much better!
Im certain YOU agree. all about "I" and "YOU". oh, the level of head in the sand ignorance is terrifying. Its like these people who survived Avaya 2010-2017 somehow believed they received some sort of superpower veil for their time so they can coast 2017-2022. And NO...even if you claim you "work your a-s off" does not mean you should survive. the company was full of "working arses off" on hamster wheels to nowhere. I can't take these employees anymore. They simply don't get it.
F avaya, let's see, im nothing but a number to them so when they need to cut costs due to their own mismanagement and greed my number gets called. Buy stock at a 15 percent discount they say, I now have about 30 years of tax writeoffs that I can claim since stock dropped 2000 percent. Completely clueless at the top level, really don't care if the company survives at this point. They did this to themselves.
@Fed Up..
In the words of JFK ask not what Avaya can for you rather what you can do for Avaya.. now grow up
Been a Couple of Days, you observe? And then claim it's due to a lazy workers priorities? Let's just more academically observe that maybe the reduction in posts have a direct linear relationship to when we read about our company --being investigated, delaying full earnings report filing, having a whistleblower, likely defaulting on loans, eliminating $250m from operating budget (primarily via workforce reduction), learning there may be a majority owner activist investor, the CFO clearly stating the numbers are not accurate and confidence is low, credit rating downgrading, becoming a meme stock penny stock story -- take your pick! Any of the above can cause significant alarm and inspiration to share and investigate, as that's all we can do. Maybe if any board member or leader took these posts seriously 6 months ago, we may have avoided going down this road. I find these posts to be the only honest collection of insight. And quite frankly, these posts have been more accurate at predicting the future than any high level paid consultant. Certainly more accurate than anything marketing puts out or the leaders shared in Q1 & Q2 Earnings Reports.
I believe "Steve" is a US-based Euphemism, such as "Karen".
Who is Steve?
Actually over 2 billion...
OVER ONE BILLION was lost, yet we are suppose to care about the feelings of the people who were participating in the big lie? Peoples real concerns are labeled as "diatribes"?What am I missing here???
"Sums it up I think"!??????
Yup. You all knowing master who got us all good! Wow. Aren't you a piece of work. Have you not "peddled" (to use your word) Avaya's lies for long enough to finally face the music? Of course not. You've been caught. All of you that contributed to the chronic spin of mistruths and rabid peddling of false narratives are now living in the reality you created. It is unnerving that you actually believe that our posts and comments are the real problem. These are the RESULT of the real problem. And belittling us and scaring us to stop is going to accomplish what exactly? Enable you to return to a criticism-free world where you say and spin whatever you want for your own individual gain or self survival, while thousands of people have been conned into investing into Avaya?
HOW IRONIC! "scare" "mongering" "fiction"...lets dissect the meaning
SCARE: verb. cause great fear or nervousness in; frighten (for example, imply that people don't do their jobs during 'working hours' to intimidate and discredit their words)
MONGER: noun. a person who is involved with something in a petty or contemptible way
(for example, how the CEO and CFO deliberately chose to ignore proper reporting of subscription contracts b/c the real numbers did help their smoke and mirrors campaign). And then how could dozens of sales and marketing leaders NOT see that there was a disconnect with what was real vs what was 'implied' to be real? Anyone with a brain could see what was happening. So the sales and marketing leaders who remain are either complicit or not smart AND complicit).
FICTION: noun. literature in the form of prose, especially short stories and novels, that describes imaginary events and people. (for example, claiming Avaya has converted 60-75% of its customers to cloud, when in fact it neglected to report how many customers have left for a direct competitor and that cloud was a loose definition for any client who may have at least one (YES 1!) Spaces license)
Also, Avaya is a global company. So what exactly defines "working hours"? I know I work an average of 12 hours a day, about 4 each weekend. Your elitist bullying may have worked with the old CEO and his culture. I would bet it will quickly get you identified as not belonging in the new culture.
Hey Steve! We knew it was just a matter of time before you had to dictate your self absorbed baseless "wisdom". You've often told us, and many partners, how JC hand picked you. We all see why. As you subscribe to the "follow the leader" bullying with zero ability to assess facts or common sense. We have a Harvard MBA now. One who knows how to empower people, not bully, intimidate and retaliate. He knows facts are facts. Your music man showmanship has very little value in a world of fact.
"to those that depend most on Avaya being successful". Ha!HA!ha!HA!
Helllllllooooooo Clueless. Everyone involved RELIES on Avaya being successful. And their current death spiral s a result of people NOT SPEAKING UP! The greatest gift the new CEO can be given are these HONEST comments as he can't fix a train wreck if he can't even locate the train cars. Hello, obvious marketing department who has always been clueless that NO ONE believed your BS OneCloud lipstick on a pig, or your redirection messaging. The market, clients, partners and most especially shareholders need honest, real, fact supported everything. It is clear where the new CEO should cut immediately
some wish to keep their head buried in the sand, some are completely clueless, some don't know how to research and read. when the CFO in the NT10-q report says Avaya stated “there is substantial doubt about the Company’s ability to continue as a going concern. then you get what you deserve. Do a bit of research on convertible bonds, do you happen to know how much is owed and when they become due. Do you happen to know how much debt Avaya has? Do you know how much Avaya is worth right now with the stock price of .71 cents. Do you know about the lawsuits that are being filed on behalf of stockholders that lost billions, how about the lawsuits on behalf of the creditors that loaned the 600 million? What happens to a stock if it closes below a dollar for 30 days, Did you happen to read that the NYSE sent a letter of delisting the stock due to not filing the 10q report. But of course these are scare tactics. Keep living in your fantast world, I'm sure some Enron employees thought those were scare tactics also. I personally got my money and got out. Good luck, you will need it...
I agree. We have no idea about who is making these comments and what they know or don't know. These things don't help anyone and are pointless other than to make what we know is not a good situation more upsetting especially to those that depend most on Avaya being successful.
