Quiet Quitting

I highly recommend quiet quitting. Look it up.

It’s been 2 months now and by only working 8-4 daily, my excess work has been redistributed. That’s the only way to survive here as they won’t help you from preventing burnout any other way.

Sitting in your lab fudging numbers for your rounds is not quiet quitting, that's just not doing your job.

If you don’t force a boundary no one is going to respect it. Good for you.

I have been doing it for years! I am not going to get stressed out because this company expects me to give 200% without 200% compensation. I have posted about this before. I sit in my lab at Christina Lake and fudge my numbers at least half of the time. I don’t do all my rounds like I am required to. I will never work over time or take part in extra training. I have watched coworkers who have given up time with their families, gone above and beyond for this company only to be laid off. Why would I stress myself out and not get extra pay for it. I have quietly quit at least two years ago.

It applies at Suncor and CNRL also.
