I have this from very reliable sources that the carnage will start on 8-22 and go on through the week. Also, there is an all-hands private meeting scheduled on certain E-dept people on 8-30 morning.

I think something is happening on 08/22. One of our LL4s has back-back 30 minute private meetings most of the day.
Nothing is next week. It’s in October! Stop spreading rumors!

@ 1pvr+1iimpyMh after 30 years you feel entitled and don’t learn new things. Than is why people like you are targeted. If you leave a position for a youngster can be saved so that he can make a life at ford. Why don’t you leave voluntarily.

Telltale signs you are part of the separation (from my SRD experience) -your company keys to secured areas have been taken from you; your badge has recently had access to certain bldgs removed;
24/7 badge access no longer works; laptop seems to be unusually slower than normal; responsibility for your standing weekly meetings have been transferred to a coworker; you're close to or reached a milestone; you're over 45yrs old and been at ford for at least 20 yrs; you've been told you don't have to attend key meetings any longer; mgmt friends can no longer look you in the eye. @ 1hwk+1iimpyMh - It’s all good - I can proudly say I have contributed 30+ solid, dedicated years to this company. None of it as a “slacker” as you say. I’m guessing you’ day will come - the company also can’t afford to continue to employ people that don’t even know what they don’t know and are too co--y to be a team player and be willing to learn.

In my organization, the Chief Engineer levels have mon and tues blocked off as private. Our sister dept. Chief also has (12) 15 minute meetings scheduled on her calendar starting at 830am Monday morning.
I have a skip level with my director next week. Several of us (less than 10) have been invited along with one person from corporate comms and one from OGC. I can’t help bu think this is it.
