How the execs gonna afford their steaks? They'll have to sacrifice them for London broil instead, at least Steak cutter can keep in cutting.

Rumour has it that workday will be unlocked this weekend as part of the weekly update. So managers will finally be able to apply any salary changes.

This is just the rumours I've heard

The riffing of people will need to be over by September, as they can’t announce pay review communications to groups who still contain people already identified in positions to be made redundant. Lots of ‘why am I being made redundant? Is it to pay for my colleagues pay increase?

The reality is that regardless of whether a zero is multiplied by a backdate of 4 months or 6, it is clear the company is leaking money at a time when a company really doesn’t want to be doing that.

Shouty will be writing a comms now.

Thanks for everyone joining today. You know, as Iam sure many of you are aware from our last warning erm investment calls that it’s been a tough (insert gloomy context here) and as a result the leadership team and myself had to take some tough decisions. Many of you will have noticed your friends and colleagues are no longer online or maybe you have not heard from your boss (I mean your real boss) in weeks. These were people we unfortunately had to let go. These were not easy decisions. Yes, I know we told investors that they would be easy decisions and ok, maybe we did boast that our team have saved $700m before and thus another $500 million would be a piece of pi-5 - but we have to remember these are people like you and me with real families. But necessary sacrifices have to be made in order to make that corner remain a. Corner and less of a straight line. Already we have made remarkable progress on slightly reducing the lightening speed of our losses which I think everyone deserves a big thank you for. And that brings me nicely onto pay rises, a subject I know is close to everyone’s heart in these tough times. However, as I have said, we have taken some difficult decisions and we must be ready to continue to make those tough calls. As one team, doing the right thing, we are all in this together. Some of my team have already made sacrifices over putting on hold extensions to their holiday villas or not replacing the worn cream leather interior on their luxury boats….

Will they back date the pay then too! Were supposed to potentially get an annual payrise.. but for the few that do get something.. it seems to be more like an 18 month payrise as they change the month each time!

Been told Turpie leaving was genuinely family reasons.

Good U.K. employers are giving flat pay rises this year of between £600 to £2000K but if your on £60K and get a 3% rise this will be £1800 but worse for those on lower wages.

Got told this morning that there is no news at all either good or bad. I am expecting the same as last year but with more zeros. 0.0000000%

WOW...it is SO AMAZING people still BELIEVE. Maybe they need to listen to the Q1-2023 audio....DXC is BROKE and bleeding cash badly. You may as well ask ".....Any news on the 2022 UK Unicorn sighting?"

Nope - all our raises have gone to sponsor Manchester United - don't expect anything from Mr Shoutyface apart from WFR
