Count your blessings and jump in the ocean to enjoy.
For heaven's sake help them. That used to be a part of Intel culture but somehow it went away. Please bring this back. Knowledge sharing is critical to the Company's success.
I have found that going to your manager and directly asking - what will it take for me to be promoted at Rewards? Tell them why you believe you should be at the next grade level and what scope you are currently working at. If you do not feel that it will happen based on your discussion, there are plenty of internal job opportunities at the next grade level. Good luck
Shared knowledge is the Intel way. Kissing but is the only way you get promoted is another way.
If your manager isn’t a part of this problem, it’s time to have a discussion with him/her.
If your manager is a part of this problem, there’s nothing you can do. You are not valued by the decision makers in your org. Those other people will be getting the credit for that work when performance review / layoff time rolls around. Either stop doing other people’s work or get used to not getting credit for your accomplishments.
Speak to your manager and explain the situation and ask for a promo. If your manager does not support the promo, look for a new company and interview for a better / higher paying job.

You should stop pretending that you are so awesome, and if you are you should leave the sinking/stinking ship.
