Is Centene doing anything to prevent burnout among employees and stem the high turnover rate? So many good employees are leaving because they've had enough of having to work long hours and weekends with no relief in sight. I'm not sure if this is true for the entire company, but it's definitely true for my group. Something has to be done or soon there'll be nobody left to do the work - and not due to layoffs but walkouts!

Burnout is worse with wfh.
Don’t get me wrong - I will never, ever, go back into an office (with or without this job…ever). Allow me to explain…
The lines are so blurred and there’s no time to reset when you don’t have a commute. Work never really begins and ends. Home really never begins and ends. Both are always there, all the time.
In my mind, this whole quiet quitting cr-p we are hearing about is really about people burning out because they’re working longer and harder from home (in most cases…not all).
Especially in corporate quality, no one gonna be left in this circus with the clowns running the show! Being laid off would be a blessing compared to working with d-mb and d-mber!
Having been part of the last layoffs, I can 100% tell you that other companies also work long hours and / or weekends. The one I am at does. As a matter of fact I will be working today, on a Saturday, for at least five hours because I need to take off Monday & Tuesday. Then next week, because I dared to take two days of PTO, I'll be working extra hours to make up for what else I didn't do on my Pretend Time Off days. The grass is not always greener. I want to retire and am trying to hang in there for a couple more years so not a prime time to make another move at my age.
Not the case for all departments!
