Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Is there anything better that Intel offers than competitors?

I doubt it.

If your work experience is reliant on corporate level bs, you will not be happy anywhere. After 40 years at different companies, including Intel, happiness has more to do with the work you do and your coworkers then anything else.

Don't invest in the corporate bs, invest in yourself and your immediate surroundings. Money is not everything.

I do wish free deodorant was offered for people also.

They’ll hire your arranged married wife to boost the diversity numbers . In gfx the wife can go really high as her husband is an actual engineer, not arranged surprisingly.

So in a nutshell you're saying you can be lazy, collecting an easy paycheck, but have no growth. Sounds great for boomers near retirement but what happens to people in the 20s and 30s when they need to find another job with no marketable knowledge or skills ? Easy paycheck for a few years in return for career su----e ?

Intel offers no work. You hardly work 1 hour/day so you are on (continuous paid vacation and do another side job or enjoy your life. Job guarantee as long as Pat is CEO. Much better comp under Pat ~90% what Apple/Nvidia pays. Much better titles like Director/Sr. Director/VP/Principal Eng/Sr. Principal Eng etc. You can be director at Intel easily compared to other companies.

12900K is currently pretty highly ranked, until 7000s series comes out in about a month. Also until then you need intel for DDR5, right?
