Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Radio silence since Feb??

The last global Town Hall was back in Feb. Why has Exec Management stopped sending any comms and holding town halls? Feels like we are being kept in the dark when everything used to be transparent…. Unless there is going to be some sort of amazing announcement that will please all employees….not holding my breath though.

Meets all goals and performance expectations and exceeds some. And still nothing , a BIG FAT ZERO. NO official word either, just a bunch of bull sh*t emails.

Tell us either way would be a good start as we were promised it would be in our paychecks if we were getting one on August 1. Do the right thing, Do as you say, Mr Shouty failed both of those DXC values

I have been waiting 5 years for a pay rise. When asked manager why. I was told I am one of the highest paid in the team and the others need to catch up. Wtf? So all my hard work and excellent yearly reviews are for nothing!!!! I will do the minimum from now on.

Mr Shouty is now scared to run Townhalls.

He has no good news to give to anyone

He has to make more layoffs

He has to answer to why he promised a review in July, but didn't make it happen

He has to explain why the share price is tanking

He has to do this, knowing that someone might ask him a really difficult question, like when he's going to admit that his strategies for running the company aren't working.

No, it's better for Shouty McShoutface to stay well away from Townhalls; by doing this he knows he can't upset people as much as he would if he tried to run another train wreck of a Townhall session.

Let's face it, if he ran one now, what would his key messages be:

  • Hey gang! We're laying more of you off
  • Great news on pay rises: you aren't getting a pay cut, what's the problem?
  • The share price hasn't dropped as far as it could have done
  • And best of all, look how much money I'm making by taking advantage of my employees
  • Gang! Work Harder! There are fewer of you now, but you still need to get everything delivered! Work Harder!!

How can anyone defend our leaders? They committed to quarterly townhall and stopped them after staff dared to ask McShouty about pay and he got all angry.
They have provided no information to staff about fy22 results or Fy23Q1 results.
Old shouty promised staff pay review done by July and in our payslips by August, nothing.
Well run corporations don't run like this.

Also.. it is supposed to be a quarterly town hall... so the last one was Feb.. so we should have had one in May/early June.

Unless you have a time machine I think it will be difficult to join this call.

However, this does not explain the radio silence for so long. I know how corporations work and we have had 2 quarter results published and still heard nothing.

The Annual Meeting of Stockholders will be held on August 17, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time and will be a virtual meeting conducted via live webcast. Attend the meeting online and submit your questions during the meeting by visiting: www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/DXC2021.

Once they have the meeting , then and only then will they have a Townhall. You people need to learn a thing or 2 on how corporations work

It does all appear to have gone unsettlingly quiet whereas previously it was continual cheer leading...

Townhalls with second tier management continue, but Salvino has been MIA for nearly 6 months now. The next round of second tier are coming up soon.... going to be interesting to hear what is said about Turpie's departure!

Several things that were broadcast externally were not mentioned internally - the recent financial results and the sale of the MS Dynamics business to EY for example.

The problem we employees have is that after all of the abuse piled on us from M1, we can only see bad stuff when things aren't said or are kept secret from us. I don't see why M2 can't see that's why there is zero trust and that he needs to constantly communicate and follow through on his promises.
