If you expect to be judged based on merit, think again. Promotions are given strictly based on who your friends are, at least in my department. It’s hard to watch as good, knowledgeable people who work hard get passed over for promotions over those who’ve been at Seagate for just a few years and are nowhere near as experienced or hardworking, but know the right people.

Bull Sh-t Teh is spoiling the company culture….he has Mosley’s and Board’s ba--s in his watch pockets I think.
You seem to have some bias issues. You need to repent and surrender yourself to the corporation. Only then will you find what you’re looking for. Only then will you achieve your corporate dream$$$. Now, repeat the following every morning and before bed until it has been it memorized:
At Seagate, we care about our neighbors. And by neighbors, we mean the world. Our ethic of global citizenship runs deep. We care about people everywhere and we work to make the world a welcoming space for them—and for their data. Amen.
People with acting talent will do better. Yep. Hint hint.
You need to fix your list of friends. Try taking some networking courses as well.
