Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Has anyone heard the timeframe when layoffs/vendors will happen

I know some depts like ASIC and RMBC were told layoffs/vendors could happen last month but they never game a timetable. I think they did that to have people quit

They need to just go ahead and give us the date. Yesterday, we were told about the new digital program for agents that launches on October 15th, which basically eliminates most of ASIC.

It’s simply a question of stable staffing. Once there is substantially trained staff to handle call/chat volumes, layoffs will happen. They don’t announce the layoff or type (lift and shift or eliminate) to keep people from leaving prior to staffing requirements are met at the vendor

I heard if you ask the same question weekly, you will get a correct answer at some point. however that answer may come next week or 5 years from now

No timeframe but we were told the vendor is going to “observe” what ASIC does through the end of 1st quater next year. I believe they already installed a software on a few ASIC reps. We also noticed our skills went from 11 to 4 and has been really slow lately. I feel like something may happen soon but a few responders in here said layoffs aren’t on the table anymore. Who knows what’s up….
