It wasn't easy for me to decide to quit, it is difficult to start from the beginning somewhere else, but I did it anyway because here I would definitely continue to stagnate.... I wonder if people who leave DXC miss anything from this company afterwards? I had excellent colleagues, but I am more than dissatisfied with everything else.

I will miss my real DXC colleagues , but not any of the contractors. They just bleed the company dry
@6ywx+1iWzFM8e... what strength or encouragement do you need? There is plenty of hiring taking place; you can do this!
Certainly not going to miss my co-workers ( who are turning on me ) when they give me my WFR or force me to quit via co-workers and bossers bullying
DXC is a horrendous place to work at - wish I had the strength to quit.
No matter what anyone does, they are never rewarded.
A co-worker is now a competitor and that is the legacy of treating employees badly.
Why do you stay at a company that's not given pay rises in years - cos there's very little real work to actually do, that's why. Most tasks are 90% fluff. Change 2 lines of code and deploy it, yes that's a definitely a 12 week project. You can't tell 'em - nobody's listening, that's what they all want, that's what they get. All too busy watching the share price.
My co-worker and I co-ordinated our quitting. We now work together again at a much better company!
Yeah, most of the DXC'ers don't know what real work is. They are more stuck in nonsence proces steps und useless tools.
But I'm pretty sure everyone will enjoy and perform in a good working environment.
And the motivation and engagement will be back in a minute.
I left DXC a while ago, and it went very well. More money, more fun at work, better organized processes, regular pay rises, tax free bonus for enegry cost, ....
Richard-Daughter, are you this antagonistic in real life or just online?
Also missed my colleagues, though many of them left before and after me quite close together when they saw there was no future at DXC. The company’s often shocking lack of disregard for its people and its focus at grabbing cash often to the detriment of the client they were serving placed myself and colleagues in rather embarrassing situations for a supposed ‘leading edge’ company such that when DXC was mentioned in a client meeting the client members at meetings viewed DXC as a company that was there to explain why something couldn’t be done than how they were going to do it. Always embarrassing. Plus some colleagues could no longer perform their roles as DXC refused to pay supplier bills and suppliers stopped talking to us as a credible IT for, they wanted to work with again. DXC sailed very close to the wind on meeting its regulatory requirements to save a few bucks which caused some local legal folks some sleepless nights.
Most of my colleagues went into better jobs and not necessarily IT as I think DXC’ attitude to IT had put them off the vocation entirely. I made more money when I left. But that was just a consequence of moving and not something I was necessarily looking for, as I just wanted to be happy in a role and not hating having to go into work each day, in that job or any job. I think being happy in a role is much more important (to me) as it motivates you and your creative side and makes work not seem like work. Also, less stress, less worry and happier emotional state of mind.
It might take a few months to get used to a new culture especially if you have worked a long time in an environment of management mistrust and broken promises. They are not all like that out there. Thank god.

The often shocking lack of disregard for people and their focus at grabbing cash to the detriment of the client relationship and their willingness to sail close to breaking regulatory requirements (for the sake of saving a few bucks). If you have worked at DXC a long time, you might find it hard to trust management again. The culture shift might take a few months just because it will be different and likely put more control into your hands rather than central command where they don’t trust anyone to do the right thing.
Good luck in your future endeavours and please work hard in your new job. Most dxc'ers have forgotten what a full day of work is.
Miss the co-workers only. Luckily had the opportunity to work for a previous boss.
