We have seen a significant correction in the market and we are headed deeper into a recession. That being said, where does Abby now stand with woke work politics? Is there still an emphasis on hiring minorities and women over more qualified candidates? What about work flexibility? That will all change between now and the beginning of 2023. Keep yelling yourself that but right now at Fidelity if you are a women you can be only 80% as good and get the job. Believe I hire and if you are capable as a women the job is yours. White men have to be the clearly better candidate to have any chance.

In the old days EEOC would be involved but they are probably woke now too. PPL tend to forget there are managers and subordinates so when I hear the word slave in a response that tells me a lot about the employee. You have to take direction and working in corp. America may not be for you? I have heard about female manager in roles that are clueless-not fair to them and the teammates are in disbelief, being a private co. can stave off major RIFS a bit longer....then we'll see how the rehiring process changes?

It is definitely harder if white male. The question asked every time you hire is was your candidate pool diverse. If you are minority or female you have a leg up in the process. This is partly because there are still many more white men in the company especially in sales and management.

White, non-woke person here.. However, be careful how you put things in writing as you sound a little out of touch. Minorities and women can be very qualified for jobs in this field. I agree there should not be a quota, however your statement makes it sound like "all non white men" are not qualified.
