If working conditions remain the same, do you see yourself staying here beyond a year or two? or even six months? I admit, I hate change and so far I'm not planning to leave any time soon, but I do believe that'll change within a few years if things don't improve (proper raises would be a nice start).

Ask any bricklayer. Once they are out of bricks, the wall they are building STOPS developing further. Same thing with a career. Once your employer is out of bricks, (i.e. no money for YOU to grow/no incentives) your careers STOP developing further. This is pure human nature. No pay raises, no workie harder, no learnie new things. Point being, if you are happy with where you are at financially in your career, stay with these DXC saunterers. If you want/need a viable, financially progressive career, TRAIN your BRAIN and leave the INHUMANE...... You will never advance financially at DXC (Pronounced DI-KS). That is by DESIGN folks...."let'em eat urinal cakes..." Or something like that...?;-)
Is Halbard that really boring guy who used to talk the numbers on the UK town halls? I left via transfer to another company and associated redundancy in middle of last year, so out of touch with the names. Not worked since, but absolutely no regrets getting away from depression.

I currently work on the consulting side in the UK and I can confirm there is no future. Polish that CV and get out. Don’t wait, just do it. Halbard is just a cost cutter and he will do whatever Mike tells him to do. They couldn’t care less what mess they leave behind.
