Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Wouldn't it stink to get RIFed next week vs. this week and miss the better lump sum pension payouts that change after 11/30?

Is it a bridge too far to think that could be part of the plan?

Not following how this could be possible. The payout gets worse after 11/30. Not better.

Media backlash? Obviously you have overestimated your plight, as well as your predictions. Grunts

There should be tremendous media backlash against this company if they were to do this. The pandemic layoffs plus this if it were to happen would make a very powerful piece on this company’s layoff policies.

Nope it’s not a stretch to have this cross your mind. As we know, Allstate is a deviant malicious money mongering company. I would say they’d RIF the mostly sickly top performer to save on health costs.

Or you could bow up and take control of your own destiny and quit now. Cause once it goes up, you got that for at least a year.

No, it’s not a bridge too far.
