I don’t know if every team has someone who sits on an undeserving title, springs into action to be the loudest and smartest guy in the room, talk a big game, tells you how much they knew back in the 80s, 90s, 00s, has someone in mind to always delegate their own work to, and at the most convenient of times come down from the top of the ropes to regain old glory attaboys…if you do, take my advice and consider leaving. They’re not team players, they’re parasites.
They don’t deserve a free ride to a better work life balance, a secondary income, and all other nice things one should enjoy more of.
