Anyone hear of more cuts?
Have an offer which is kind of open ended on a start date (friend of a friend).
Dell is making me really depressed so would like to start sooner rather than later but dont want to miss out on any package.
Even if it is a small one.

with the fed increasing the interest rate to reduce inflation there are 3 million job cuts coming US wide pushing unemployment to 5.5% GDP will cut by 2 percentage points, fun times ahead.
my husband, who works at Dell, just told me we need to watch our money for a little bit because there are layoffs coming.
Help him out. Tell your manager that you are offering to leave with a severance package to help out with layoffs.

If you don't want to work at Dell anymore and you have an offer from a company you do want to work for, stop putting your life on hold for a few pennies and go.
