Although I try not to worry and think of layoffs as the end of the world, I am still very anxious and worried about what will happen next. Didn't we deserve at least a little more transparency? Worst of all is the uncertainty. Rarely can anyone do their job effectively while wondering if he/she is next in line to be laid off.

It’s sad that STX leadership rely on layoffs to cover their mistakes. What a terrible culture and way to treat your employees. Leadership spout in All Hands for employees to consider the whole package which STX offers instead of just compensation. It’s all cr-p. Take care of yourself. Because STX won’t.
Correct. I can tell you that I don't know anyone who is fully engaging with passion on the job anymore like in some past times. Nobody wants to fully emotionally commit to the work and get too involved when they could be on the street soon. There's no assurance or loyalty from the company so they don't get any back.
