@ihu+1iMGMcWH it's not just an extra $50k, in many cases folks doubled their total comp. It's also a myth that Intel is the only company offering excellent WLB and benefits. There are many other companies that are offering all this and meaningful, fulfilling work.

With no growth, how will the lower ranks get promoted and make more money?

It’s nice to be at the top by virtue of being there for almost 3 decades. People in the lower ranks would do much better elsewhere.

@adz+1iMGMcWH. -- I am not HR. I have been at Intel 27 years and looking forward to 4th sabbatical. Due to intel I am able to buy nice house, paid college tuitions for kids (my daughter joined intel last year) and have good amount of savings. I can retire now but why? I am in grade 10 and enjoying working at intel with great WLB.

Intel is like a den of viper snakes squeezing the life out of failed process nodes.

10nm to infinity and beyond

Some of it is haters, the rest is in response to the complete garbage people and culture. The level of toxicity is hard to get out of your mind.

Intel is like a horse cart consortium when mechanical engines are entering the market.

No matter how much you invest in horses and carriages , it will amount to nothing if there is a better competitive product in the market.

Moore's law is broken, Intel is dead.

@ 1nwd+1iMGMcWH because we are investing in now. Look at meta and their stock dropped more than 50% from all time high. We are going to be a leader starting 2025

So when Intel's revenue declined 22% Year over year, did the haters do that too? $454 net loss and more than 30% slump in stock price, are the haters responsible for that too?

OP -- I agree. Lot of intel haters on this board. All these are who left intel and missing excellent WLB and competitive pay after Pat becoming CEO. All these guys left intel for extra $50k (after tax only $25k) and end up doing 3x work what they were doing at intel. Other companies asking employees to come back and intel still allowing WFH plus remote work. Also jealous intel is getting big chunk from CHIPs act. Let them hate while we enjoy working at intel with extra ordinary WLB.
