It’s not 1:1, rather the entire team together. I don’t think they should be laying off people like this but any news of other teams?

I can say for a FACT they lay off whole groups together. It has happened to me at Centene.

Yes, Centene has a history of laying off entire groups in the group setting. I've witnessed it personally.
Are you saying a team actually was laid off as a group or are you speculating about what the meeting will be about? I highly doubt they would do that in a group setting. There have been lots of teams lifted and shifted within corporate recently (not all involving layoffs), so it could just be that simple.
