Sabbaticals seem almost gone from high tech, it's really stupid that they are gone. The bean counters don't see the advantage they provide of natural attrition and cross training. Every company should offer them like some many in the valley did 15 years ago.

A four week sabbatical? That doesn’t line up with the actual definition.
