For now, I have no other option but to accept increased responsibilities... Colleagues just keep on leaving and those of us who are still there are having a really bad time. When I hear rumors about RIFs, now I think it would come as a kind of relief...... Honestly, how much have your responsibilities increased just since the beginning of the year?

No, the digital badge would be achieved by added BS training they make you do on top of your workload or they hold the fire you carrot on you if you don't do it. Really is an excuse to start being able to fire people and give them no severance. Oh, you did not make certification we popped on you? We have to let you go.

Sounds like you drew the short straw and now your manager has "quiet promoted" you by giving you more to do with absolutely zero bump in compensation. Good thing the work is the reward itself at Oracle, otherwise I'd be pi$$ed if I were you.
Oh wait, you might get a digital badge for your efforts.
