Zerox is a dead company try to play bluff
Zerox is a dead company try to play bluff. Customer service, technical support or anything that needs resolving is impossible once you have a contract with them. Example: it has been 3 weeks so far trying to arrange fixing my printer and so far there is no hope. I have been transferred million times to different, so called, departments just to waste time. They make things up as they go along. Some time my warranty is not up to date, some time relevant team is not available and some time simply put the phone down on me. Yes you read it right, they put the phone down on me at least 5 times.

Please don't buy Xerox products, you WILL regret it.

Customer service is really frustrating
Good printers but dealing with customer service is really frustrating. I've been trying for ten days to solve a problem with my printer and I keep being sent round in circles.

Bit like one of those gameshows where contestants have to endure pain and suffering in order to reach their goal...

Update - Xerox finally said they couldn't help me because my printer was too old (it's two years old).

Incompetent service
The Xerox copier/printer in our busy office ran out of black toner. Printer is on a service contract with Xerox. Called the phone# given & was told a toner would be shipped & arrive w/in 5-7 days, was given an order reference#. Could not provide a tracking# at that time. Called back when after 8 days it did not arrive, was told they had no record of that reference#. But gave me a new order# and told 2-3 days and again could not provide a tracking#. I would not buy a Xerox printer if it was my home/shop/business.

We use the Xerox self serve printers at office depot, and they are the worst printers I have ever seen. They constantly break down, and it takes Xerox forever to send out a technician(you have to basically convince them on the phone), and when they arrive theres a 50 percent chance they can actually fix the issue. One of our self serves has been down for over 6 months, and every time we call in a technician they can never fix the problem. Thank god the normal printers we use behind counter have had no issues or we would be seriously screwed.

Recently changed to a C7020 and its probably the worst decision I made. Although the print quality is good, getting the printer to print is a whole different matter. I have now been trying for 4 hours to change to a custom paper size in the bypass tray and due to pre-sets, its virtually impossible to do. No help online with all advice saying the same thing...which does not work and have been on hold with customer support for most of the morning. Should probably cut my losses and invest in a new Cannon.

Bad customer service and high prices
Bad customer service and high prices. We have a printer that is less than 2 years old that developed a fault and it was endless to try and get a price to fix it from customer services. They said they would send us a quote about 5 times but didn't. When the quote came it was half the price of the printer itself to replace a bulb....

If you want service from Xerox, then you need to be a Lexmark national account.

“You only have good chances of getting good customer service if you're a major account or a print shop that buys a lot of production. Reps will quit and their customers will be forgotten unless they're meaty. It's tough for smaller businesses, churches, clinics, etc”

Spot on, but even then supply, service response times and customer communication are huge issues because the staff does not care.

Customers aren’t happy with their xerox experience? Huh. That's weird.

“yawwnnnnn”

The “Yawn” reaction is why X has a problem. Indifference and contempt for the customer is the biggest issue with X. Clearly a sales rep.
