I’m hearing that Oracle is going to adopt the policy like Microsoft that if you get RSU’s it be tied to a monetary value, for example $100000 with a five year vest possible 4 years. This way you will get less shares of the stock price goes up. What a wonderful country! When they axe you no shares, no dollars, win win for the big O. Any confirmation?

Let me get this straight: instead of real money, M1, cash, green. The stuff that can buy groceries and rent. You get these complex financial schemes that nobody can understand. With rules and calculations that can be changed at any time, at the whim of the grantor, while you wait around to vest.
Sounds like scam. Who gets rich from these?
I’m so sorry …
Has all RSU letter been issued corporate wide? I haven got mine yet.
$100000 - 4 years is $25000 a year divided by the closing price before taxes:
$80 = 312 shares
$90 = 277 shares
$100 - 250 shares
$100 - 250 shares
= 1088 shares.
Before you got an option which was a calculated number of shares at $0. So for example if you got an option for 3000 shares which would you rather have with the same vesting cliff.
Not making up anything so help me understand your logic. You think by giving you a fixed dollar amount the outcome is better for you?
Is it possible you never got RSU’s before. Sorry you don’t understand.
Has everyone received their new tranche of RSU vesting notice for this FY ?
RSU grants are now expressed in terms of dollars, not shares. On the day your grant is awarded the number of shares you will receive is calculated using the dollar value of the grant divided by the closing stock price on the day of the grant. From that point on it's no different than before; you have a grant of "n" shares which vest over four years.
Maybe you should find better sources of information? Or are you just throwing out random unsubstantiated allegations just to cause trouble?
