Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

#UnemployerMove

Thousands of families displaced from work right before the holidays, and guess who will be hiring then? Exactly nobody. T-Mobile is in the black by billions, but it’s workforce transformation to ‘digital’ means one thing: pay working families less & lay off those who make more than a certain amount and have any kind of seniority and pay the C-Level more. This is why unionization is the only way to survive any longer in Telecom. Without it we are nothing, and never were to the corrupt Sieverts who just want to sit next to Amazon’s rockets and stroke them. Human beings never mattered to T-Mobile, only optics & $$$. The biggest lie any corporation ever sold was ‘we care’, and T-Mobile, the Unemployer can now take its place right next to other corporate scumbag businesses who care only about profit for the top ten percent. After all, everybody’s doing it? Why actually be different? Once the network has been built, you don’t need the people who built it, right? Goodbye innovation, goodbye depth of knowledge, goodbye loyalty, hello cheap labor, shoddy automated fixes that slide out of alignment with nobody knowledgeable to help it pivot, and hello cash grab for Sievert’s & Nevil’s coterie of fake executives looking for that third house or mega-yacht. You sold us out. You sold your soul, and we all watched it live. I hope the government sees your lies and burns every dollar you earned off of hardworking peoples backs.

Once again, why does my paying you union dues (and further reducing my salary) do anything for me? Unions had a place. In 1930.

No thank you, union organizer. If you haven't read any of the other posts around this event, we do not need another hand in our pockets and yet another set of rules to figure out our future.
