I’ve seen this date mentioned a few times now as the start of another round of layoffs. Does anyone have a source or know if there’s any truth in it? Why the 15th?

Doesn’t seem to make sense this time though. CloudWorld is right after… and I’m sure they don’t want WARN RIFed people at the conference.
But you know, this is Oracle. LJE would probably RIF his grandma if she cost him too much in food on Lanai.
Consultation or "at risk" periods can begin at different times though, not necessarily on the 1st or 15th.
Don't know if there's truth to that date, but layoffs will always occur on pay cycle dates which are either the 1st or 15th.
Because Michael Myers and Halloween Ends is released on the 14th, so the time just seems appropriate.
