With AEP on the horizon, I don't find it likely that we will see further RIF's in '22. However from things I've heard, cuts could resume in the spring; where up to another 15% of workforce could be RIF'd.
They did not say that there were going to be layoffs and they did not say they were not going to be layoffs. That is what people keep telling you. You will not know if you’re gonna be laid off until you are in a meeting and they are telling you that you are being let go.
they were "transparent" and vague. It's not clear but i think the overall tone was yes. more RIF's incoming. it basically a lottery of whom and which departments will get impacted. There was an HR person on at the end who briefly and very vaguely talked about the severence and placement into other departments so I can't see why that was needed unless it was obvious. it was all vague and "transparent"
Can anyone actually answer the question? Was there mention of layoffs? I missed the meeting as well and there is never time to go back and watch recordings
The recording will be released soon and you can listen to the entire town hall.
