Well, I certainly prefer to use my personal phone simply because it's easier to carry one phone than two. UK mobile contracts are now usually 'unlimited minutes' so it doesn't cost anything to do this way and is just a bit easier when you're travelling.
But there's no way I'd allow DXC admin rights on my own device, nor would I ever install DXC software onto my own device.
Will you secure your personal device as company require? If yes just put corp image on it and there you go. If not your asset is untrusted and right decission is not allow access. Another point is your home network .. it's absolutely untrusted for company that's why endpoint must be secured and another layer inside the company.
I wouldn't want to install anything on my personal device. it would be nice to be able to use it as an extra device when sharing with a vendor on my primary , so I can do other work
Intune company portal has to he installed and then you can use Outlook, Teams, Onedrive. (They can track you as Intune has admin privileges to the device).
However, why would you want to use a personal device for work and that too at a place like DXC?
