Recession = More In person engagement?

Any bets on whether or not our leaders will use the recession and softer job market to push for more “in person” engagement and office time?.

Centene has been selling real estate and recently scrapped the plan to keep the newly built charlotte building. Their number 1 focus right now is pleasing big investors like politan by reducing cost and thereby increasing margin. I personally dont see them going back to in person engagement anytime soon. I don’t know how they will implement it.

Just saw this in the news. Look at The CEOs comments about the degradation of performance due to remote work.

I’m betting this will result in more in office work for at least some of us.

They’ve closed so many offices here in California that there’s no way they can get everyone back in. They’ll ask leadership and some departments to come back, but I think SL is a champion for remote work. She needs to save money since we can’t innovate.

Don’t care. There’s no amount of money or pressure they can apply to get me back into an office full time - even a couple days a week.

Take the job. Give it to someone else. I’d rather take a pay cut and go elsewhere before I go back in on any regular basis.
