I spent the last 12 weeks preparing for and earning a valuable industry certification, all the while billing to something which didn't require more than a few hours per week of my valuable time.

So FVCK this SH|THOLE and the C0CKSUCKERS who run it.

I'll be leaving soon for a huge increase, more pleasurable and worthwhile work and a company where I can feel valued and can be honestly rewarded.

If you have the skills to back it up why sit around and wait? I left voluntarily 8 months ago and ended up with a 40% pay increase, a ridiculous signing bonus, better culture and better benefits. If you wait it out make sure you have a good emergency fund. The recruitment process for me was 3+ months while I still had a job. And we are heading into the holiday season when less hiring occurs.

To WFR that person, the cost is around 200k due to legal requirements for package in
many European countries.
How is this a cost saving??

WFR payouts are one-off cost element and treated by tax and accounting differently, so the saving will count as approximately half their annual salary (as DXC is halfway through its financial year) plus the associated costs on top of their salary that apply to all employees (ranging from payroll taxes, facility and equipment costs and other management and overheard costs)

Ok, the boss promised 500M$ so we are curring workforce to achieve this. Example from Europe - 20+ year employee cost 80k/year, so until end of the fiscal year still 40k and bit more to spend on him/her. To WFR that person, the cost is around 200k due to legal requirements for package in many European countries.

So much for Mikey and all his promises.

How can he stay on and take $28 million for creating such a mess.

This is a top rate scandal.

Resignations increasing as well, we've lost a couple already - in addition to the ones identified for WFR.

With Shouty McShoutface promising a $500M saving by year end, you can bet that there are more layoffs coming in September. It's the only way for him to achieve that figure and bag himself even more money.
