We just were told today, by email that our group WILL be returning to the office IN SPITE of the agreement made between labor and thr union, Sept 19-30 by inverse senority. Per the email our VP sent today. He stated that the return to work agreement basically gives them leverage based off of any upcoming guidance from the CDC. ie the cdc lacing the rules made them rush to send us back... but if It changes they will send us temporarily back home if needed , as long as the agreement is in place.
lol att still can't manage wfh - rules for thee not me.
There's no point in forcing people back if they've proven they can perform the job at home.
Now they have to drive in, spend $$$ on gas, put up with God awful coworkers and BS from mgmt....all the while they continue working at home for last 2 1/2 years. Let those who produce stay home, those who can't or won't should be made come in.
I have over 20 years in and wishing they would just lay me off.
I enjoy hearing kids crying, dogs barking, & cartoons playing in the background while working with a wfh tester.
Where on a mission to know wear we will be working, we’re oh were will that be?
Nice response...glad to see you have a sense of humor about it! Pretty funny!

Doesn't anybody on this site know the difference between WERE, WE'RE and WHERE...good God! Must be in management with a degree would be my guess! An awful lot of you managers need a remedial grammar course!
WFH will slowly be phased out over the next few years. The tech companies in the valley are already griping and changing their policies, T will follow.
It all comes down to labor force availability and labor participation rate, right now in demand technical folks can land jobs anywhere so T will be accommodative, but wait a year when where in a recession and it will be a different story.
We wouldn’t miss the clerk’s and scheduler’s in our area.
It is up to each Business Unit President- Our Vice President in Minneapolis has decided not to honor the extension and will return all Call Center Reps to the Office Full time by 10/1/22
Company management has the right to cancel the agreements at any time with a seven-day notice. Participation is at the discretion of management and is entirely voluntary on behalf of employees.
The agreement was extended, but reps are still going back in September. The extension was negotiated in case AT&T has to send reps to work from home again.
Might be easier just to lay off than have some people return.
