I thought they were getting rid of all those Hometown stores by the end of the summer. What is taking so long? Dragging everything out into eternity as always I suppose.
"This Willowbrook location was supposedly acting as a distribution center for other stores and appliance deliveries. Meaning that Sears will need to secure another space for these activities if they have any intention to continue operations."
So making a store double as a distribution center is not a guarantee of continued operations in that location? In light of that bombshell we should probably go back and revisit some previous threads.

No new news here this was not on the last list of Hometown Stores as it has been listed as closing since June.
Also it's not a Sears it's a Hometown.
Wait a second. They closed the Sears in the mall. Then opened a Sears again in the same place? And they expected a different outcome??
