When you are laid off with severance; does your check continue or is there a delay?

2 weeks per year, assuming you are actually let go and not rebadged to accenture (in which case you don't get severance). Using current pay.
Is it 2 weeks per year and how is it calculated based on yearly income or current pay
If you sign papers right away and select continuation severance vs lump sum, it should not skip any you would get paid every 2 weeks during payroll weeks, as I’m past. If for some reason they skip a payroll week, your severance should extend for extra payment. Just track it and ensure you get all your payments. In my case, I delayed signing my SRA for 2 weeks and they skipped one payroll but did not add it at the end of the severance period. I Had to call shared services and deal with their uselessness and it took another month to get my final payment, after I got HR in NY involved. If you don’t need medical benefits, consider taking the lump sum. Good luck.
You will get a large package of documents to read and sign. They explain all your options.
