Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Brandt will become CEO of another insurance company

Possibly something like Gainsco or The Hardford. Bet on it.

Brandt self identifies as an insurance nerd, and he is very sharp. However most claim leaders take the hit when profitability goes off the tracks. Inflation is real, but he's used it as cover for how broken HIS claim department has become since he took over from Rosen at end of 2019. It will likely get worse as they explore more global approaches to staff and vendors.

Because he has been part
of the problem that has ruined Allstate and we hope he goes on to ruin another company.

I moved my personal insurance away from Allstate. If I saw any of our “leadership” at my new company, I would move again.

Highly unlikely that the state farm owned gains could would take an allstate person vs one of their own failure.

Brandt also doesn't have the actuary, financial or law knowledge that is needed for ceo of larger companies

Nothing says expertise in the insurance industry like references to "The Hardford"!

You can take this knowledgeable insider's prediction to the bank.

(Although I don't disagree that white, male corporate mediocrities do tend to "fail up" on a regular basis.)
