I saw in a thread below regarding terrible morale that most Allstate employees just don't care anymore. I find this to be very true. Even in town halls and meetings with directors and division managers you can tell and it is obvious. Some division managers and FLLs will even openly say it. And not one person on my team cares or believes in this company anymore. We just go through the motions as minimal as possible just to get that paycheck. And the great thing is our leaders and division managers know what we are doing. Home office shills....take notice most employees at all levels just don't care anymore and your poor processes, initiatives, and your blessed Transformative Growth is fully to blame. If the shareholders and board of directors want this to change then there is a top 3-4 layers that they need to cut or replace. Otherwise they will get what we give them. Period.

Look at the timeline in the later years of Sears and compare it to Allstate over the last 3 years..Almost identical…..
Tommy brought his mindset to Allstate from Sears. Experience employees covered many sins of upper management and they no longer exist due to the arrogance of Wilson and Shapiro.
Allstate will end as Sears did…
The only non-manager types still at Allstate are people with no other plausible similar paying job options otherwise. And many linger because they are actually excited about receiving severance package someday. A severance package that they have deluded themselves into thinking will be like winning the lottery so they can go home and atrophy. Well guess what, anybody who has ever been laid off and received a severance package...even a generous one...can tell you that you still need to focus 24/7 on finding a new job because the money runs our shockingly fast. Unless you are close to retiring and set accordingly, any non-manager type still at Allstate is playing a game of Russian roulette.
I haven't been to a Town Hall in months LOL. What's the point? So they can p*ss on me and tell me it's actually rain?
I think the only people who truly care anymore are the higher ups. Everyone else is fed up and/or burned out.
I can agree. Here in CCC I do not know one person management or otherwise that thinks this company is an even acceptable let alone good place to work. In my 18 years in multiple roles in various departments I have never seen the morale and not caring as bad as it is now. Even to the point where management openly talks about it. I just don't get what Wilson, Shapiro, and others think that they are accomplishing here. Unless it is by design to get us all to quit so they have less severance to pay when the coming layoffs occur. Because customer interest is not even a consideration in what they are doing.
Remember the town halls in the beginning of the pandemic? Assurances of no layoffs “at this time.” Translation: we will cut jobs as soon as we can get away with it. They’re using the same language now. Beware customers and employees. Allstate is being milked for every last penny a la Sears! Customer service is not a priority. CE is an excuse to deny raises. Employees- run for your lives while you can!
Right on the money !! Transformative growth has been a cluster f**k from the beginning - and now its taking its toll on the company...and the employees. Only when Wall Street starts asking question will there be changes at the top.
