There’s never any plans for additional layoffs but they happen anyway. It’s always summed up with “things have changed” “coming from up top” “different business direction” etc…
From what we were told during the hands on call everyone effected had already been notified and there were no plans for additional layoffs. That's all I know.
Anymore info as of yet? I'm a Citi employee in Mortgage, but currently on leave needing some additional info. Manager had been all hush hush about it, but that's to be expected from her.
Has affected employees been notified as of yet? When is this slated to begin? Is it coming in multiple rounds over an extended period or one big chop at once?
What about the rest of the bank. Any known layoffs?
