Head's up if you purchased vacation and didn't use it before getting terminated...reimbursement is supposed to show up on the final paycheck (separate from the severance payout) but it wasn't on mine. Accrued unused vacation was there but not the purchased vaca reimbursement. I've called in and had a case assigned so I assume it'll get rectified but watch out if this applies to you.

It's hijinks like this that keep me from doing the purchased vacation thing.
Despite the “calculation explanation” I think it’s a bit of a sc--w job but I suppose there’s no law they have to pay a severance and partial bonus either, so whatever. Just irritating that I believe their verbiage is misleading regarding purchased vacation “reimbursement”.
Yes, I called and got the same answer. The HR person explained the calculation.
Well…I found out those of us who were severed with purchased vacation get a raw deal. Purchased and granted vacation is thrown into one big accrual, so USB considers the accrual payout your “reimbursement” when I would beg to differ. But, not gonna argue since there’s really no recourse. Hopefully nothing shady with upcoming severance payout, but we’ll see since it’s hard to trust USB at this point.
Yes, they also deducted purchased vacation from my last check so a bit of a tip-off but would have caught it anyway since the deposit figure seemed low.
Good grief, I have the same issue. This final paycheck includes a purchased vacation deduction for my last week of regular pay LOL! Yet another HR screwup in this layoff process is no shock at this point.
